The Oireachtas Joint Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform will meet the Minister for Finance Michael Noonan TD tomorrow, Wednesday, 8th May 2013. The Minister’s presence at the meeting will allow Committee Members to question him in advance of the upcoming ECOFIN Council meeting.
Liam Twomey TD, Vice Chairman of the Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform, said: “During the Irish Presidency Ecofin will be chaired by Michael Noonan, Minister for Finance and Brendan Howlin, Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform. Our Committee meeting tomorrow is a valuable opportunity to explore key priorities with Minister Noonan in advance of the Ecofin meeting on 14th May. Of particular interest for members will be measures that are being introduced to confront the effects of the economic crisis and to promote financial stability and economic growth.”
This meeting will start in Committee Room 4, Leinster House at 4.30pm on Wednesday, 8th May 2013.
