Environment Sub-Committee to consider Housing (Amendment) Bill 2013

Minister of State for Housing and Planning at the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government Jan O’Sullivan will come before the sub-committee on the Environment, Community and Local Government tomorrow, Wednesday, 22nd May 2013 for the Housing (Amendment) Bill 2013.

Cathaoirleach of the Sub-Committee Michael McCarthy TD said: “The main purpose of the Bill is to amend section 31 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009 relating to local authority rents. Tomorrow, the Bill will receive detailed consideration and members will have the opportunity to propose and discuss any amendments to the legislation as published.”

This meeting will start in Committee Room 1, Leinster House at 12.30pm on Wednesday 22nd May 2013.
