Sub-Committee to discuss Public Service Management (Recruitment and Appointments) (Amendment) Bill 2013

The Sub-Committee on Public Expenditure and Reform will meet tomorrow, Wednesday, 2nd October 2013 for the committee stage consideration of the Public Service Management (Recruitment and Appointments) (Amendment)Bill 2013.

Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform Brendan Howlin TD will be in attendance at the meeting.

Sub-Committee Chairman Ciarán Lynch said: “This Bill will enable the redeployment of members of staff in the civil service and certain other sectors of the public service to other positions in the public service. Tomorrow, the Bill will receive detailed consideration and members will have the opportunity to propose and discuss any amendments to the legislation as published.”

This meeting will start at 5pm on Wednesday, 2nd October 2013 in Committee Room 4 Leinster House.
