The Joint Oireachtas Committee on Health and Children will focus on the Health Insurance (Amendment) Bill 2013 tomorrow, Thursday 28th November 2013 when it meets with representatives from Aviva Health Insurance Ireland Limited; VHI; Glo Health; Laya Healthcare; and Health Insurance Authority.
Committee Chairman, Jerry Buttimer TD said: “Our meeting will be an opportunity to engage with the health insurers to discuss the private health insurance market. We will be interested in getting their views on risk equalisation and community rating as well as any other issues that are of concern.”
The meeting will start at 9.30m in Committee Room 2, Leinster House tomorrow, Thursday, 28th November 2013.
