Justice Committee to launch report on Traveller ethnicity

The Committee on Justice, Defence and Equality will publish a Report on the Recognition of Traveller Ethnicity at 10am tomorrow, Thursday, 17th April 2014.

Committee Chairman David Stanton, TD, said: “The Oireachtas Joint Committee on Justice, Defence and Equality undertook in 2013 to carry out a report on the recognition of traveller ethnicity and to make recommendations to the Minister for Justice and Equality, Alan Shatter and his Department. The report, which will be published tomorrow, makes a number of observations and recommendations on the Traveller ethnicity.”
