Jobs Committee to consider Employment Permits (Amendment) Bill 2014

Minister of State, at the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation and the Department of Education and Skills with responsibility for Research and Innovation, Deputy Seán Sherlock, will attend the Select Committee on Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation tomorrow, Thursday 26th June 2014 for committee stage consideration of the Employment Permits (Amendment) Bill 2014.

Committee Chairman Damien English TD said: “The Bill proposes to significantly amend Ireland’s permission to work regime currently governed by the Employment Permits Acts 2003 and 2006
Tomorrow, the Bill will receive detailed consideration and members will have the opportunity to propose and discuss any amendments to the legislation as published.”

This meeting will start in committee room 3 at 10am on Thursday, 26th June 2014.
