Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman signs book of condolences in Pakistan Embassy

The Chairman of the Oireachtas Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs and Trade Pat Breen TD has condemned Tuesday’s school massacre in Pakistan and expressed solidarity with the Pakistani nation. This morning, Deputy Breen visited the Pakistani Embassy in Dublin sign the book of condolences and offer his sympathies to the Pakistani Ambassador to Ireland.

Deputy Breen TD says: “I wish to condemn in the strongest possible terms the appalling attack that killed 141 people, mostly teenagers. The horrific attack on innocent schoolchildren on Tuesday shocked the world.  I spoke to Pakistani Ambassador this morning and offered my sincere condolences to the people of Pakistan on behalf of the cross party Committee on Foreign Affairs and Trade.”
