The Select sub Committee on Education and Skills will meet with Minister for Education and Skills, Jan O’Sullivan, to take Committee Stage (Third Stage) of the Teaching Council Amendment Bill 2015, tomorrow, Thursday, 26th March.

Commencing at 10am, the Select sub-Committee will consider the bill which, among other things, aims to amend and strengthen the statutory provisions relating to the Teaching Council’s fitness to teach function. The Bill also makes provision for the retrospective vetting and periodic re-vetting of all registered teachers.
The meeting will commence in Committee Room 4, Leinster House, tomorrow, Thursday, 26th March 2015 at 10am.
