The Oireachtas Joint Committee on Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation will tomorrow meet with Dr Donal de Buitléir, Chairman Designate of the Low Pay Commission.

The meeting will take place in Committee Room 2 tomorrow, Tuesday, 14th April at 1.30pm.
Committee Chair, Marcella Corcoran-Kennedy, TD, said: “The Low Pay Commission will advise the Government annually on the rate of the national minimum wage, making it a crucial part of the Government’s plans to reduce poverty and improve the standard of living in Ireland. As such, this appointment is a very significant one. We look forward to contributing towards an open and informative debate and assisting the Minister in the appointment process.”
Also on the agenda tomorrow will be an update from Connect Ireland. The Committee will hear from Connect Ireland representatives at 2.15pm.
The meeting will start in Committee Room 2, Leinster House, tomorrow, Tuesday, 14th April 2015 at 1.30pm.
