The Public Accounts Committee will continue its hearings on the Comptroller and Auditor General’s report on the National Asset Management Agency’s sale of Project Eagle, tomorrow, Thursday, 17 November 2016 when it meets with former members of the NAMA board in the morning and officials from Cerberus in the afternoon.

Appearing before the Committee tomorrow are:

Eilish Finan, Former Member of NAMA Board
John Mulcahy, Former Member of NAMA Board
John Corrigan, Former Member of NAMA Board

Mark Neporent, Chief Operating Officer, Cerberus Capital Management

Committee Chairman Seán Fleming said: “The Committee is continuing to examine the sale of NAMA’s Northern loanbook or Project Eagle. Tomorrow, we will continue our series of meetings on the report.  We will be interested in discussing with former NAMA board members their role and knowledge into all aspects of the sale of the Northern Ireland loanbook and their knowledge of NAMA’s Northern Ireland strategy. It will also be an opportunity for Members to put relevant questions to Cerberus, the successful bidder for Project Eagle,  about how it became involved in the Project Eagle sales process, the basis for Cerberus submitting its bid and the context around the assurances that were provided to NAMA regarding Cerberus’ advisors and fee arrangements.”

This meeting will start in Committee Room 3 at 9am tomorrow, Thursday, 17 November 2016. Committee proceedings can be viewed live here. The afternoon session will begin at 2pm

Committee proceedings can also be viewed on the move, through the Houses of the Oireachtas Smartphone App, available for Apple and Android devices.
