Finance Committee to meet with Permanent TSB CEO

The Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform, and Taoiseach will meet tomorrow, Tuesday 22nd November 2016 to resume its discussion of matters relating to the banking sector with Mr. Jeremy Masding, CEO of Permanent TSB.

The meeting will commence at 2pm in Committee Room 4, Leinster House.

Committee Chairman John McGuinness TD, said, “Tomorrow’s meeting with Mr. Jeremy Masding is part of a series of engagements that the Committee is hosting with senior management of the main banks.”

“Our meeting with Mr. Masding will be wide-ranging and will give the Joint Committee the chance to explore current issues in Ireland’s banking sector, with a focus on Permanent TSB’s plans. The Committee will wish to consider the latest trends in mortgage arrears and house repossessions, as well as issues around Brexit and lending practices highlighted by the Central Bank.”
