Ceann Comhairle, Seán Ó Fearghail, TD will turn on the Oireachtas Christmas Tree lights at 5.30pm on Tuesday 6 December 2016.
Cathaoirleach of Seanad Éireann, Senator Denis O’Donovan, the Taoiseach Enda Kenny TD, opposition party leaders and other Members of the Oireachtas will be in attendance.
Location: Leinster Lawn, Leinster House.
Date: Tuesday, 6 December.
Time: 5.30pm.
Music and song will be provided by Cruinniu Choir and the Oireachtas Choir. The Cruinniu choir is a Co. Wicklow based chamber choir, comprised of seventeen members under the direction of conductor Rosarii Kinsella.
As this ceremony provides a photo opportunity, press and photographers wishing to attend are asked to notify this office in advance and should arrive on the day via the Kildare Street Gate entrance at 5.15pm.
