Communications, Climate Action & Environment Committee to discuss Inland Fisheries (Amendment) Bill 2017

The Select Committee on Communications, Climate Action and Environment will meet to tomorrow, Tuesday 16 May to discuss the Inland Fisheries (Amendment) Bill 2017.

The purpose of this Bill is to confer an explicit power on Inland Fisheries Ireland, the State agency responsible for the protection, conservation, development and promotion of Ireland’s inland fisheries and sea angling resources, to bring and prosecute summary proceedings for inland fisheries offences.

Appearing before the Committee is:

Minister of State for Gaeltacht Affairs and Natural Resources Seán Kyne, TD.

This meeting will take place in Committee Room 2, Leinster House at 11am tomorrow, Tuesday, 16 May 2017.
