Communications, Climate Action & Environment Committee to discuss Minerals Development Bill 2015

The Select Committee on Communications, Climate Action and Environment will meet to tomorrow, Wednesday 17 May to discuss the Minerals Development Bill 2015.

The purpose of this Bill is to consolidate and modernise legislation on exploration and extraction of minerals, replace a number of pieces of legislation from 1940 to 1999 and provide a modern regulatory regime for exploration and mining.

Appearing before the Committee is:

Minister of State for Gaeltacht Affairs and Natural Resources Seán Kyne, TD.

This meeting will take place in Committee Room 4, Leinster House at 1.30pm tomorrow, Wednesday, 17 May 2017.
