PAC to meet in private session in relation to specific matters

Following its public session to deal with the committee business and correspondence, the Committee of Public Accounts will go into private session tomorrow, Thursday, 25 May 2017 to deal with a number of specific matters.

Committee Chairman Deputy Seán Fleming said: “We have a private meeting tomorrow with the whistleblower in the ‘Grace’ case.

“Also in private session, Committee Members will discuss the list of witnesses and schedule of meetings to examine the interim audit report on the Garda College in Templemore.

“Arising from our meetings with third level institutions, the Higher Education Authority and the Department of Education and Skills, we will be reviewing progress and plans for drafting a report into that sector.”

“The Committee will commence in public session to deal with correspondence and business of the committee. The remainder of the meeting will be  in private.”
