PAC to continue examination of financial procedures in Garda College

Committee Chairman Seán Fleming said: “Following on from meeting of 4 May, the Committee has agreed to carry out a focused and timebound examination of matters related to the Garda Interim Audit Report on Financial Procedures in the Garda College Templemore. Tomorrow we will meet with representatives from the administrative and auditing functions with An Garda Síochána to discuss how budgetary and financial controls, compliance and corporate governance are exercised in relation to the College and to consider how the recommendations in the report are being followed through on.”

This meeting will start in Committee room 3 at 9am on Wednesday, 31 May 2017. The meeting will adjourn at 1pm and reconvene at approximately 2.30pm.
