Justice & Equality Committee to discuss Court of Appeal appointment with Minister

The Joint Committee on Justice and Equality will focus on the manner in which the Government filled a vacancy on the Court of Appeal when it meets with Minister for Justice and Equality Charlie Flanagan TD tomorrow, Wednesday, 28 June 2017

Committee Chair Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin TD said: “The purpose of tomorrow’s meeting is to have an engagement with the Minister for Justice and Equality, Deputy Charles Flanagan, to discuss the manner in which the Government recently nominated the former Attorney General, Ms Máire Whelan, to fill the vacancy on the Court of Appeal.”

This meeting will start in Committee Room 4 at 4.45pm on Wednesday, 28 June 2017.
