The Joint Committee on Justice and Equality will carry out scrutiny of the Mortgage Arrears Resolution (Family Home) Bill 2017 [PMB] at its meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, 25 October 2017.
The Bill provides for the establishment of a Mortgage Resolution Office; a non-judicial Mortgage Resolution Order concerning mortgages over family homes; and an independent appeals process against decisions of the Mortgage Resolution Office.
