The Joint Committee on Justice and Equality will discuss the recommendations of the Commission on the Future of Policing in Ireland with Justice Minister Charles Flanagan TD on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 9 a.m.

“The Commission has detailed a wide range of proposals suggesting ways to improve the accountability, human rights protocols, responsiveness and operational effectiveness of An Garda Síochána. Our members are most interested in exploring the Government’s views on these ideas,” said Committee Chairman Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin TD.

The meeting in Committee Room 2 can be viewed live here.
