Oireachtas Committee to discuss Co-operation and Working Together partnership

The Joint Committee on the Implementation of the Good Friday Agreement will hear from representatives of Co-operation and Working Together (CAWT) partnership at a meeting in Leinster House, tomorrow, Thursday, 3 December at 2pm.

Damien McCallion, Director General of the CAWT partnership and Bernadette McCrory, CAWT Chief Officer will appear remotely via video link before the Committee of TDs and Senators in Committee Room 4.

Speaking before the meeting, Committee chairman, Fergus O’Dowd TD said: “The Co-operation and Working Together partnership, was set up in 1992, and manages a range of cross border health and social care programmes.

“The Committee welcomes this engagement to hear about the work of the partnership, how it operates, current cross border projects, research and the impacts of Brexit on the organisation to date and potential impact of Brexit on its work in the future.”
