16 Nov 2021, 17:05

The Joint Committee on Enterprise, Trade and Employment will discuss the impact of changes to Covid-19 and other incentives to business in Committee Room 4, at 9:30 on Wednesday November 17th.

Neil McDonnell, Chief Executive of Irish Small and Medium Enterprises (ISME) and representatives from the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment will address the meeting.

Speaking ahead of the meeting, Committee Cathaoirleach Maurice Quinlivan said: “This is an opportunity to give detailed consideration to the incentives available to business given the enormous and rapidly evolving challenges there have been over the past two years or so, including from the Covid-19 pandemic and from Brexit.”

“The Committee looks forwarding to hearing about the perspective of small and medium business owners as they and their workers have been particularly challenged during this period.”

The Joint Committee on Enterprise, Trade and Employment has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.

The meeting in Committee Room 4 can be viewed live on Oireachtas.ie.
