The Joint Committee on Agriculture, Food and the Marine will meet this evening for separate discussions on Hedgerows, Carbon and Biodiversity, and Ireland’s draft CAP Strategic Plan.
The meeting at 5.30pm in Committee Room 3 of Leinster House will be split into two sessions:
5.30pm-7pm – Hedgerows, Carbon and Biodiversity, with representatives of Hedgerows Ireland.
7pm-8.30pm – Ireland’s draft CAP Strategic Plan, with representatives of BirdWatch Ireland and The Environmental Pillar.
The Joint Committee on Agriculture, Food and the Marine, chaired by Deputy Jackie Cahill, has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.
