Joint Committee on Education, Higher Education, Research, Innovation & Science to discuss Future Funding of Higher Education

The meeting will be broadcast from Committee Room 2 at 11am and will feature a roundtable discussion with officials from Quality & Qualifications Ireland (QQI), Higher Education Authority (HEA), Solas, National Apprenticeships Planning Office.

Speaking ahead of the meeting, Committee Cathaoirleach Paul Kehoe TD said: “The Committee will continue its examination Future Funding of Higher Education and will welcome the opportunity to hear the views of these key stakeholders in this fundamentally important issue."

The Joint Committee on Education, Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.
