Foreign Affairs Committee to hear from the UN’s Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories

The Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence will meet on Thursday March 31st, to discuss to discuss the Report of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of Human Rights in the Palestinian territories occupied since 1967.

The meeting will take place in Committee Room 2 of Leinster House between 13:30 - 15:30.

 

Professor S. Michael Lynk, Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories will address the meeting.

 

Professor Lynk is, since 2016, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territory occupied since 1967. He is Associate Professor of Law at Western University, London, Ontario where he teaches labour law, constitutional law and human rights law.
