The Oireachtas Joint Committee on Health, led by Cathaoirleach Deputy Seán Crowe TD, will conduct a site visit to the New Children’s Hospital today, Tuesday, 5th of July 2022 following an invitation from the Board of the Hospital.
The Committee will be meeting with Eilish Hardiman, CEO of Children’s Health Ireland and Dr Emma Curtis, Medical Director of the National Paediatric Hospital Development Board and Paediatric Consultant at CHI Tallaght.
Speaking ahead of the visiting, Cathaoirleach Deputy Seán Crowe said “The aim of this visit is to view the progress being made on the building of the New Children’s Hospital. The Committee look forward to gaining an understanding of the remaining work to be done on the hospital, and the estimated timeline for its opening.”
The Joint Committee on Health has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.
