Joint Committee on Agriculture, Food and the Marine to discuss schemes including BPS, Organic, ACRES, Beef Genomics, BEEP and TAMS III with stakeholders

The meeting at 5.30pm in Committee Room 3 of Leinster House will be split into two sessions:

• 5.30pm-7.30pm – Representatives from the Irish Farmers’ Association (IFA), Irish Creamery Milk Suppliers Association (ICMSA), Irish Cattle & Sheep Farmers’ Association (ICSA), Irish Natura and Hill Farmers Association (INHFA) and Macra na Feirme;
• 7.30 pm-8.30pm – Representatives of Teagasc.

The Joint Committee on Agriculture, Food and the Marine, chaired by Deputy Jackie Cahill, has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.
