Joint Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform, and Taoiseach to discuss Investment Funds with MABS and FLAC

The Joint Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform, and Taoiseach will meet tomorrow, Wednesday, 8 March, with representatives of the Money Advice and Budgeting Service (MABS) and Free Legal Advice Centres (FLAC) to resume discussions on investment funds and the property market.

Ahead of the meeting at 1.30pm in Committee Room 3 of Leinster House. Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy John McGuinness said: “This meeting continues our series of engagements on investment funds and the property sector. The Committee looks forward to hearing from MABS and FLAC about the impact on mortgage holders, particularly the effect of increasing mortgage interest rates and the difficulties these are having for households across the country.”

The Joint Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform, and Taoiseach has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.
