7 Mar 2023, 15:35

The Joint Committee on Health will meet tomorrow, Wednesday, 8th March for consideration of issues relating to the role of pharmacy care in the healthcare system at 9:30am in Committee Room 2 of Leinster House.

Speaking ahead of the meeting, Committee Cathaoirleach Seán Crowe TD said “tomorrow’s meeting on the role of pharmacy care in the healthcare system will give the Health Committee the opportunity to get vital insight from the Irish Pharmacy Union on their current work, and their recommendations for the future of pharmacy care. The importance of the pharmacy to all towns and villages in Ireland cannot be underestimated.  We will welcome the perspectives from those representing the most accessible element of our health service.”

The meeting in Committee Room 2 can be viewed live on Oireachtas TV.

Committee proceedings can also be viewed on the Houses of the Oireachtas Smartphone App, available for Apple and Android devices.
