Joint Committee on Health to meet for an update regarding the implementation on Sláintecare reforms

The Committee will hear from representatives from the Department of Health and Health Service Executive.

Speaking ahead of the meeting, Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy Seán Crowe said “the meeting tomorrow allows the Committee to get an up-to-date account from the Department of Health and HSE on the progress being made on the implementation of Sláintecare reforms and what measures are planned next. In recent previous meetings this Committee has been assured that the necessary commitment and momentum relating to the reform agenda are being maintained and we will seek information that clear and consistent progress is being made. The Committee notes the recent publication of an Implementation Plan for the new Health Regions.”
