Enterprise Committee to discuss the operation and resourcing of Coimisiún na Meán with the Digital Services Commissioner

Speaking ahead of the meeting, Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy Maurice Quinlivan said: “Coimisiún na Meán was established almost a year ago, in March 2023, taking on the functions and staff of the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland. Their remit covers broadcasting and on-demand regulation, media development, and online safety.

We look forward to receiving an overview of the work and structure of Coimisiún na Meán, the EU Digital Services Act and what it means for citizens."
