Bill entitled an Act to provide for the implementation of Directive 97/81/EC of 15 December, 1997, of the Council of the European Communities concerning the Framework Agreement on part-time work concluded by UNICE, CEEP and the ETUC¹, to clarify the effect certain enactments relating to employees have in cases where the employee concerned is a posted worker (within the meaning of Directive 96/71/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December, 1996, concerning the posting of workers in the framework of the provision of services) or is otherwise posted in the State², to amend section 14(2) of the Protection of Employment Act, 1977, and to provide for related matters
