[ WRITTEN ANSWERS. ] - DEPENDENTS' ALLOWANCES.

To ask the Minister for Defence if he is aware that Volunteer D. Donoghue (No. 46056), 4 Reserve Company, 3rd Tipperary Brigade, Kickham Barracks, Clonmel, who enlisted on 27th October, 1922, has made several applications for dependent's allowance without result, and if he will say whether this allowance will be paid.

The only application for Dependents' allowance in respect of Private Donoghue was received on the 19th ultimo. A payment of arrears was made on the 23rd idem, and future payments will be made regularly each fortnight.
