Vol. 4 No. 1

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. [ ORAL ANSWERS. ] - COMPENSATION FOR MOTOR CAR.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state whether compensation has yet been paid to Mrs. M. Cassidy, of Main Street, Castlerea, on account of a motor car which was taken by the National troops on 21st July, 1922; and, if not, can he explain the great delay in dealing with this claim.

Compensation has not yet been paid to Mrs. Cassidy. Her claim is receiving attention. Its consideration has necessarily been delayed pending the handing back of the car and the receipt of a report on its condition when returned.
