WRITTEN ANSWERS. - A BALLYHAUNIS ACCOUNT.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state why the sum of £8 11s. 6d. due to John Phillips, Main Street, Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo, for milk supplied during the months of January and February has not yet been paid, and if he will take steps to have settlement expedited.

The amount of Mr. Phillips' account for milk supplied in January and February, 1923, was £9 5s. 6d. An overpayment of £8 10s. having been made in respect of his October and November, 1922, accounts, this sum was deducted, and a draft for 15s. 6d. was issued on the 2nd April, 1923, in settlement of the account.
