Vol. 11 No. 8

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - TURBARY ON BALTRASNA ESTATE.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture if he can now state whether the Land Commission have made, or propose to make, any arrangements with Mr. Murdock, the owner of Baltrasna Estate, Oldcastle, Co. Meath, which will enable the tenants on that estate to remove top sod of the bog and make mud turf; whether he will see that such arrangements as will facilitate the tenants in the coming season are made.

Mr. HOGAN

The matter referred to is not one for the Land Commission but for the owner of the lands.
