WRITTEN ANSWERS. - THE ROTHERAM KNOCKLOUGH ESTATE.

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether negotiations have been completed by the Land Commission in respect of the Rotheram Knocklough Estate, Oldcastle, Co. Meath, or in respect of the Chamberlainstown Estate, Co. Meath, and if he will state when it is proposed to divide the said lands.

Mr. HOGAN

The Land Commission have under consideration the acquisition of lands of Knocklough, Oldcastle, County Meath, on the Rotheram Estate. At the present stage of the proceedings it is not possible to say when these lands will be divided.

The Land Commission do not propose to take any action regarding the acquisition of the Chamberlainstown Estate, County Meath.
