Vol. 12 No. 2

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - CLONGARY (CO. GALWAY) COMPENSATION AWARD.

asked the Minister for Finance if he can state how soon the award made at Galway in February, 1924, to Miss Bridget Flattery, of Clongary, Mountbellew, Co. Galway, for £18 10s., on account of destruction of turf, table linen, glass, etc., will be paid.

I understand that the injury for which Miss Flattery claims compensation was sustained in November, 1923. The question of payment is, therefore, not one in which my Department has any responsibility.
