Vol. 12 No. 13

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - EXPEDITING SEWERAGE WORK (INCHICORE).

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he is aware that a terrace of houses is in course of erection under the Housing (Building Facilities) Act, 1924, at St. James' Road, Blackhorse Bridge, Inchicore; that several of these houses are now completed, but owing to the sewerage being unconnected, tenants who have purchased those houses are unable to go into occupation; that it is stated that the delay in having the sewerage work done is due to the South Dublin Rural District Council, and whether he will take steps to have this work expedited.

I understand that the drainage of these houses at present forms the subject of negotiations between the South Dublin Rural District Council and the Dublin Borough Commissioners. I have urged that the matter be expedited in every possible way.
