CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - UNTENANTED LANDS—BARRYMORE ESTATE (CO. CORK).

asked the Minister for Lands and Agriculture whether the Land Commission intend acquiring any, or all, of the untenanted lands on the Barrymore estate at Belvelly, Donegan, Newtown, and other areas near Cobh, Co. Cork, for the relief of congests and uneconomic holders.

The Land Commission have recently made an offer for the purchase of untenanted lands in the townland of Condonstown, on the Barrymore estate and await the owner's reply.

The Land Commission have under consideration the question of the acquisition of untenanted lands situate in the townlands of Donegan and Belvelly on the same estate.
