WRITTEN ANSWERS. - A NEWCASTLE-WEST AWARD.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that an award of £27 17s. 0d., together with costs and expenses, in respect of commandeering of goods by Irregulars, was made in favour of Thomas Roche, merchant, Church Street, Newcastle-West, by Circuit Judge McElligott twelve months ago and payment has not yet been made, and if he will expedite payment.

Payment in discharge of the Judge's report in this case was made on the 13th instant.
