Vol. 14 No. 14

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - HEALTH INSURANCE—COMMITTEE'S REPORT.

TOMAS MAC EOIN

asked the Minister for Finance whether he can give any indication as to when the final report of the Committee inquiring into Health Insurance may be expected.

I regret that at the moment I am unable to indicate when the final report of the Committee may be expected.

Is the Minister in a position to say whether there is any legislation in prospect based upon the interim report?

The question of legislation is at present under consideration.

From that may we take it that there is not likely to be any legislation introduced in the near future?

I cannot make any further comment.
