CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - P.O. ASSISTANTS' INCREMENTS.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state the number of Post Office assistants, Grade "A" (male and female), in offices classed I., II. and III. who did not receive immediate increments on promotion to their present class.

The numbers of Post Office Assistants, Grade "A," who were not entitled to immediate increments on promotion to their present classes are:—

Class I.

Class II.

Class III.

In the case of all assistants promoted the allowance of increments has been in accordance with the Government's decision on the Post Office Commission Report.
