Vol. 18 No. 15

WRITTEN ANSWERS. - CLAIM AGAINST ARMY.

DOMHNALL O MUIRGHEASA

asked the Minister for Defence whether he has received a claim for £21 10s. 5d. from Mrs. M. Maloney, Main Street, Roscrea, for goods supplied to the Army, and, if so, whether he will state when it is proposed to pay same.

On July 28th, 1922, Mrs. Maloney furnished an account totalling £114 0s. 1d. in respect of billeting of troops and goods supplied. This account was discharged by two payments totalling £92 9s. 8d., one made on the 31st December, 1922, for £83 7s. 1d., and the other on the 12th June, 1924, for £9 2s. 7d. The balance of £21 10s. 5d. represents deductions made on the account in respect of charges in excess of the authorised billeting rates.
