asked the Minister for Finance if his Department has been asked by the British Board of Trade to state whether they have any objection to the awards of an Industrial Court on the claims of various grades in the Trinity House Service for increased pay and improved conditions being extended to the Irish Lights Service.

An inquiry on the subject referred to in the question has been received, and the matter is under consideration.

Is the Minister in a position to say when the answer will be forthcoming?
