CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. ORAL ANSWERS. - WATERFORD MAN'S SAVINGS BANK BOOK.

SEAN UA GUILIDHE

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether he can state why the Post Office Savings Bank Book, No. 254988, of Mr. Owen McGrath, Clashmore, Co. Waterford, has been retained by the authorities of his Department, despite the fact that repeated demands have been made for its return.

The savings bank book referred to was held for the purpose of Departmental enquiries the nature of which has been explained to the depositor, who is satisfied.
