Vol. 36 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Old Age Pension Claim (Co. Westmeath).

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state why James Cumisky, of Ballyharney, Multyfarnham, County Westmeath, has been refused the old age pension.

It was determined on the 13th February, 1929, that this claimant was not entitled to any pension as it was not clear on the evidence then submitted that he fulfilled the statutory qualification as to age.

Is the Minister aware that Cumisky is over 90 years of age and will he send an Inspector of the Department to See this old man?

This case has not been on appeal before the Department since February, 1929.
