Vol. 37 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Danger to Navigation (Kerry).

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he is aware that since the disappearance of the beacons on the reefs north and south of the Pier at Kilmackillogue Harbour, South Kerry, skippers run grave risks at night when navigating the entrance to this harbour; and whether the Minister will take steps to have the necessary beacons erected at the mouth of the harbour.

The responsibility for the upkeep of the beacons in question lies either with the Kerry County Council or the Commissioners of Irish Lights and I am in communication with those bodies in the matter.
