Vol. 41 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kildare Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state whether any portion of the Cane estate, St. Wolstan, Celbridge, has been acquired by the Land Commission and, if so, whether it will be distributed among the uneconomic holders in the area in view of the fact that there is a considerable number of such holders and numerous applications have been made to the Land Commission.

The Land Commission have now acquired and divided the lands of Ballyculster and Loughlinstown, containing about 85 acres on the estate of Colonel Claude Cane. The allotment has been made in accordance with the provisions of Section 31 of the Land Act, 1923.
