Vol. 41 No. 17

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of Nenagh Estates.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will state whether it is proposed to divide the Toler and Jackson estates at Beechwood and Mountpleasant, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary, amongst the uneconomic holders and landless people of that area.

The Land Commission have had inquiry made regarding the Jackson estate at Mountpleasant, to which the Deputy refers, and do not propose at present to take any action with a view to its acquisition.

Inquiry will be made as to the suitability for acquisition of the Toler estate at Beechwood.
