Vol. 42 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cork Stamp Office.

asked the Minister for Justice if he is aware of the serious inconvenience and delay caused to litigants by reason of the fact that there is in the Cork Stamp Office no instrument for placing an impressed stamp on a Circuit Court Civil Bill and if he will take the necessary steps to see that this omission is rectified.

I am not aware that any inconvenience is caused by reason of the fact that dies are not provided in the Cork Stamp Office for impressing Stamps on Circuit Court Civil Bills. The matter is one primarily for the Revenue Commissioners who have informed me that they consider there is no necessity for the provision of such dies.
